Worship and ServiceWorship ServicesFBC Covenant We, the members of the First Baptist Church, are people on a journey of faith. By God's grace we are experiencing His love through Jesus Christ and by the influence of His Spirit we give ourselves up to Him. So do we now solemnly covenant with each other that God enabling us, we will walk together with brotherly love; that we will exercise Christian care and watchfulness over each other; that we will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, nor omit the great duty of prayer both for ourselves and others, that we will endeavor to bring up those under our care in the knowledge and service of our God; that we will maintain a faithful evangelical ministry among ourselves, in the support of our neighbors in need and the spread of the gospel over the earth. We covenant together to nurture this church as a community of faith and as an instrument for reconciliation in the world: by worship, by Christian education, by the dedication of our personal and material resources, and by all the other ways we express the significance of our lives with God and one another believing that we are participants in God’s kingdom on earth.
